Default No Cleaning: a simple gesture, a real impact

As part of our Green Guests movement, at bh El Poblado we have implemented the Default No Cleaning initiative, which transforms sustainable hospitality. With this program, daily cleaning service is only provided at the guest's request, reducing the consumption of water, energy, and chemicals, thus contributing to the care of the planet. This action aligns with our partnership with WWF, inviting each guest to protect the Andean Bear, a symbol of our biodiversity.

Saving the Amazon: we sow life in the heart of the planet

At bh hotels we believe that hospitality can also be a way to care for the planet. That’s why we’ve joined Saving the Amazon, an organization that protects and restores the Colombian Amazon by planting native trees alongside indigenous communities.

Through this alliance, we contribute to the conservation of biodiversity, the offsetting of our carbon footprint, and the strengthening of local communities. Every tree planted in the name of our hotels is geo-referenced and monitored, ensuring its growth and care for more than three years.
